The history of the Arizona Gunfighters

The Arizona Gunfighters is the brainchild of Corky Corkran and Bob & Dale Charnes. Their vision was to use their film and stunt experience to put together a cast of professionals to re-enact the stories of the West.

Since these humble beginnings over 10 years ago, the group has grown to over 80 members strong and come from all walks of life. The common thread of all involved is the love for the action and adventure of the heros and heroines of our western heritage. As we research the parts and perform the shows, we continue to learn and feel for the people who lived the actual experiences.

What sets the group apart is their drive to be the most authentic and polished performers they can be. Clothing must be authentic and accurately represent the clothing of the period. This dedication has clearly paid off by the number of awards our cast members win every year at the Rendevous of Gunfighters in Tombstone, Arizona. In addition, hours of research go in to each one of the shows to insure historical accuracy and the most entertainment value. We strive to be the best.

Our relentless pursuit for perfection in our shows has rewarded us with such performances as at the Pregame show for Super Bowl XXX, the Rendevous of Gunfighters at the OK Corral in Tombstone for the past 7 years, and countless other civic, corporate and educational events.
